Anna White was 15 when medical negligence left her facing a lifetime stuck inside her body, unable to walk or talk, and communicating only by blinking at letters on a Perspex board.  At the start of Anna's rehabilitation she had very little meaningful communication, but with determination and guidance she has regained much of her speech and is able to fully communicate and hold conversations.

The Whites credit her recovery to twice-weekly speech and language therapy, provided by Lauren Dowley of Judith Scholefield & Associates, and intensive physiotherapy and hydrotherapy.
